How Learner Marketing Revitalized L&D at ENGIE

Digital transformation is at the top of the priority list for many companies. But while they are usually aware of the importance of seizing the opportunities offered by the digital revolution, many organizations struggle to design a robust strategy to meet this key challenge. And even if they do manage to craft a great strategy, a large number often fail at the execution stage.

An interview with Franck Gaillard, Global L&D Director at Alstom

Alstom, global leader in the transportation sector, launched its new corporate values training project called “AIR” (Agile, Inclusive and Responsible) in 2020.

Their main objective was to develop a new learning strategy by looking at employee engagement from a different angle to better reflect their “AIR” values.

CrossKnowledge helped Alstom to develop a user-friendly digital learning platform that allows employees to convert the points they’ve earned by completing the training into donations to pre-selected non-profit organizations.

This training program has generated a lot of enthusiasm among their employees and was delivered in a record time of 2 months!

Results after the first 5 months of the launch:

73,000
learners accessed the programs

+350,000
hours of learning new skills and values

+ 1.5 million
learning resources were completed
